Almost everybody likes red tabbies. Mom had always dreamed of one. She wanted to have a female red tabby because females were considered to be calm and peaceful. She planned to call her female kitty Nurru.
But such an animal was not available! :P
After a long search and reading many newspaper ads she found me. First thing she discovered at home was that I was a boy, ha ha ha! Surprises were not over because I was far from a calm and peaceful kitten. I bit and chewed wires, pushed flowerpots down from windowsills and dug soil out of them. I scratched all couches and carpets, swung with curtains and mewed loudly day and night. Mum had to work hard during the whole first year to turn a little savage into a polite kitty. Step by step I started to learn manners and behave myself.
There are still temptations I cannot resist. I simply must scratch the big orange carpet in the living-room every day. And Mum's Christmas cactuses are irresistable! I love to chew and even eat them.
I am on good terms with Mum and Dad. Every morning I have breakfast with Dad and every evening I play with Mum. As you can see, I have managed to train my people, too. Good relations are a mutual business, I think.

I also get called Nurru. I like... mum and dad, sunny days on the balcony.... dislike vacuum cleaners... I enjoy playing with small balls of silver paper. in the evenings i play with mum and my toy rat and eating gourmet and royal canin catfood...
