CHad was a feral stray that was hanging around our house for 8months, we tried catching him but couldnt, even with a havaheart trap. We fed him outside and learned that he loved Kielbasa! So one day we placed pieces of kielbasa leading into our house, he came inside the house to eat the kielbasa and we shut the door! Then he went crazy trying to escape but momcat put a thick towel over him and got him in a carrier and went right up to the vets. They had to sedate him but then did a full exam, vaccinated him, medicated him since he had fleas, worms, ear infection. Plus they neutered him and chipped him. We got him home and he lived in the bathroom for 6months since he was feral and didnt trust people. Over time, he started walking around the house and feeling more comfortable. HIm and his brofur Tate got along right from the get go. He is now a happy and friendly kitty and is shy around people but not aggressive or fearful like he first was. Sadly about 2 yrs ago he developed a rare eye condition that wasnt treatable so he had to have both eyes surgically removed by an eye Dr specialist. He is doing great, he can still jump around and still plays with Tate, he knows where everything is and seems happier now that his painful eyes are gone. He is an amazing boy and such a sweetheart! He has a very strong bond with dadcat, they sleep together and he helps dadcat when he is working at the computer by sitting next to him on the desk and puts his big mitt on dadcats hand while hes typing on the puter...so cute!
I am special because... he is blind and isnt afraid of anything, he is amazing!
