Marla was rescued from Istanbul, Turkey. She had been neglected and her previous owner could no longer care for her. In Turkey, dogs are abandoned in the streets and forests when their owner can no longer look after them. Marla would never have survived such a hardship as most dogs do not. Marla made a very long flight from Istanbul to San Francisco where her new Mom was waiting excitedly for her. Marla is very happy to be in her forever home and she loves the companionship of her new brother Jonah. Marla was not used to cats previously but she is good friends with her kitty sister Sydney. Marla is making a very good adjustment to her new wonderful life, and even enjoying getting her picture taken!
I also get called Marlita, Mar.... I enjoy playing with soft and cuddly toys and eating vegetables...
