More about me

I was a rescue from Spain. Not much is known about me. I was found straying on the streets by a vet nurse and fostered. When I was adopted I travelled with lots of other dogs by road and eurotunnel to the UK. We disembarked at a dog rescue in Essex and from there our new owners picked us up.

Before me, my mum had a little frenchie called Annie, who went to the rainbow bridge unexpectedly at the age of 2. Mum got me as a replacement for Annie, which kind of sounds like the wrong thing to do, but it's all worked out very well. I was the same age as Annie, but I am nothing like her otherwise. I distracted mum from her grief with my constant mischief.

I have an older brother Tondo. He is a senior kitty, who is used to dogs and their ways. I like to play with him, but he doesn't really enjoy it. He doesn't run away from me or scratch me, he just complains a lot.

I love my training sessions. Mum buys me very special and super tasty treats. I am willing to do anything to get one of those. In spite of all my training, I can be very unruly. When my food is late, I run around like a mad dog. Sometimes I even attack mum's feet and pretend to bite them. When I am excited, I jump up at people like had a pogo stick. Mum uses her plant misting spray to subdue me.

I have a tendency to constantly put on weight and have to have my food strictly controlled. Otherwise I would soon look like a coffee table with one leg at each corner.

I am very lively and friendly, a real fun dog. I love everyone - human, dog or cat.

I also get called Buen Perro, Ratty.... I enjoy playing with rags and ripping things up and eating anything...

I am special because... very friendly and affectionate and a real live wire
