I was sitting in the cat house all alone and wouldn't come out. I was tiny and shy. Meanwhile Tilde was out there twirling around, purring and flirting with people. Mum bought Tilde, but couldn't bear to leave me behind. Nobody was going to buy a timid little black kitten. It would have been back to the cat shelter and euthanasia for me.
Mum put us both in a box and balanced it on top of her shopping trolley. So of course, the box fell off after a while and Tilde and me had a bit of a fall. Fortunately, we were tough and nobody was hurt.
I am small but perfectly formed, quite sturdy and extremely gentle.
I used follow my big sister's lead when I was little. I wouldn't eat or go anywhere without her. Now that I am older, I am quite independent. I am quite happy to stay in my own garden and never go very far. In the summer I spend the whole day in my garden and sit by my catmint plants.
When I was younger, the occasional fox would pass through my garden. I would give chase and see it off. The foxes didn't take any notice, luckily for me. Mum was frightened for me and blocked the foxes off.
I always adored our girl dog Aggie. After she went to the rainbow bridge, mum got a little bulldog Annie. Annie was a lively and energetic puppy. Sadly, she passed away young and we didn't get a proper chance to become friends.
Now we have another doggy Alfie. He is boisterous but friendly. I stand my ground against him, but I don't fight with him. I wave my paws in the air, but don't put my claws out. We are quite friendly really.
When I want something, I can be very vocal and meow rather awfully until I get my way. Mum says I sound like a rusty hinge.
The vets are always frustrated with me, because I wriggle and struggle, so they have trouble examining me.

I also get called Nommy, Biscuit Tin, Tuffy, Bruiser. I like... sitting in the garden by my catmint... dislike nothing... I enjoy playing with paper balls, cigarette filters, anything that moves. and eating hills kibbles and royal canin gastrointestinal wet food...
I am special because... i am very very gentle and never ever put my claws out out anyone.
