I have 3 pets

TuuliNenskyRoly
I'm a single lady & was born & raised in Tasmania. I cared for my aged Mum until her passing in 2011, aged 98 years old. She had Alzheimers, but was in good health until the last few months of her life.  I live in a lovely seaside suburb. Have the beach, a river (we are at the river's Mouth) & can view the green rolling hills surrounding us. Tasmania is very beautiful.  Tuuli & the dogs I owned before her, all love the beach. I'm involved in "dog" things (now retired from Obedience Training) & I am a regular Church goer.(Pentecostal.)

bethju sent Trish a cream coffee with hearts!
Hi my friend! Thanks for the nice words! Have a great Sunday! recadoflash.com

Thanks Beth. The coffee looks nice. It's a hot Sunday. We have 29 Celsius & that is unusual for the part of Tasmania where I live. It's on the North West Coast. Inland & down South in Hobart our Capital, it get often gets this hot. We have a heatwave at present, with these conditions lasting for maybe all week & no rain in sight. There are over 50 bush fires burning in the more remote parts of our Island State at the moment & rain would be such a help. xx

Have a lovely weekend, Trish!

Thank Marta. The gift looks wonderful. If only I could go somewhere & enjoy it. Just too much work here, which is why I'm considering selling & moving to a smaller, flat block. I have some steps here & I'm scared I'll fall down them, as my legs are really weak these days. So, trying to get the place looking tidy. Have a great weekend. xxx

Take it easy, Trish. Moving is a lot of work and stress. You could invest in a stair lift instead.

The steps are outside Marta. Front door & sliding door, which are cement steps. Only have a single story house. Too much lawn & garden for me to look after now. But I don't like what we call "Units" over here. Usually a two bed dwelling on a small block, often joined together with a Garage separating & no front fencing. No good for dogs. My house is only two bed so not big, it's the outside which is the problem. I don't wish to leave the area where I live as it's too nice, so would be looking here for something more suitable. Age has caught up with me & I feel "trapped" by my too large garden, which is just a burden now. I can't afford to get gardeners. xx

I didn't think I could afford gardener, but after a few attempts I managed to get someone reasonable. He doesn't do a very good job of it, but it's ok. I think I would go mad, if I was stuck in a small flat. My house is considered by some too big for me, but I prefer to have some space.

Yes, me too. This house isn't large, but I don't feel squeezed in, except my bedroom is small. Would love a 3 bed house with at least two larger bedrooms. The third bedroom would be a "Computer Room/junkroom." That's the problem with "handymen." They don't always do a good job & I'm a bit fussy. xx
