We  live in Arizona in a 55+ community. I used to be a pet sitter/dog walker before I retired, but held many other jobs.
I am an animal lover, Mom to 2 dogs and 2 cats &  many angels.
My days I  walk with my doggies,  spend time with my 2 cats, meditate, listen to quite music, take care of my potted plants, watch  UTube
I have 2 daughters they  live in California with 3 cats and  busy lives.
Living in the desert is different, but we are learning to like it, I do hate when it is hot outside, but the quite, the beauty of this place is peaceful and good for us now that we are retired.
